Thanks Gene. Yes, I did make sure the set screw was on the flat part (I did mess that up at first, but I fixed it). When I removed everything else from the motor, the motor does have a vibration all on its own, and it seems to be getting worse even with only running it a little bit to test. It seems...

I went ahead and greased the pinion and transmission input gear thoroughly, and it helped a little bit. Still doesn't sound great. Any suggestions?

I’m going to suggest a couple of obvious things to check that you have probably already tried but - is the set screw for the pinion gear is sitting on the flat section of the shaft? Next have you checked the shaft , without the pinion gear on it, for a wobble? Possibly the bearing in the motor is b...

My Arrma Granite Mega suddently won't respond to steering inputs -- there is no sound, no attempt to turn the wheels, nothing. Throttle works fine. It happened when I changed the battery -- it was working fine, battery ran low, then as soon as I put a new battery in there was no more steering.

Check the D/R on the transmitter. If it's turned down you won't have any steering.

Try re-binding the radio to the esc.

I would reach out to horizon on this one. It is either the servo, or receiver. But both would be under warranty.
