Does your sibling like driving rc's fast or slow? Either way I would take a look into the arrma mega series or look into scx24's or trx4m's as all those are great beginner vehicles

I think the traxxas slash is your best option to go with, they are pretty budget-friendly and have a wide availability of hop up.

Honestly, for me, it is the Traxxas. But I have been a Traxxas guy all my life so I'm not too trustworthy.

I don't have the rustler but I have the Vorteks, and I think it is an amazing vehicle, there are tons of aftermarket parts and for the price it is hard to beat. Redcats always pack a good amount of value into their products. My blackout taught me a lot about the hobby. That knowledge was well worth the price of the truck.

I have Gen8 and SixtyFour, and at least those two are excellent cars... so I would say it's ok! 😊

They make so many different kinds of cars, a lot of which are unlike anything else. I think the really scale realistic ones like the SixtyFour are sick but way too expensive for me.

It's a great little buggy! The brushed version was laughable at best. I mean slow!!! Put a $50 brushless system in and the thing is a rocket that is planted to the ground. Love it for practice and fun on a smaller track.
