FYI the Traxxas turn buckle ball joints for the 4wd slash/2wd slash fit perfectly with the arrma stock shock thus replacing them with metal is very cheap once they wear out.

Drove a tamiya tt02 at a local club race. Handles great but steering is a little bit lose feeling. I'm thinking of buying one and I'm wondering how I could fix that. If I can completely remove the servo saver that would be great but other ways to improve steering or the steering servo saver is also ...

Looking into an aluminum steering kit. Takes out a lot of the play. Yeah Racing or Tamiya - I've got both, and they are worlds better than the stock bits. Turnbuckles on the steering links are a must as well. A zip tie around the servo saver will tighten it up also. It'll still flex when needed.
